We will send you a pedigree chart to fill out. Please provide all the information you want on your blueprint chart ( names, dates, locations). Please keep in mind the more names you have, the smaller the font on the blueprint will be — which may make it harder to read. We recommend up to 5 generations.

We will begin customizing your chart after payment. Turnaround time depends on how quickly we receive family information. After we create the chart, we will send it back to you for proofing. Once you have proofed we will create the final chart and ship it to you. If you prefer a digital copy, we will create the digital copy and send you a PDF file through email.

Printed Blueprint

I printed out my grandfather’s pedigree chart and it looks pretty damn good if I say so myself.

A Pedigree Tree Revisited

I always try to find creative ways to display my family history and get my family interested and involved, whether it be through family charts, videos, pictures or newsletters. I actually don’t want to just reach my family but inspire others to dive into researching their roots.  I created this pedigree tree a year and a half ago, I found new information but I didn’t save the file as a psd. (allows me to edit the file in photoshop) so I wasn’t just simply able to edit it, I had to recreate the whole document so   I put it off for over a year. There are slight difference to the new chart to the old one but I think this chart looks just as good. The moral of this post is to save, save, save, and oh yeah think outside the box for displaying your family history. jessie cox blueprint pedigree
