If I keep digging, I’ll keep finding

Jessie L Cox Sr.

Jessie L Cox Sr.

I finally decided to subscribe to a newspaper archive site and I found a newspaper clipping from the Anniston Star via that mentioned my grandfather (Jessie Cox Sr.) death in 1952.

Grandma’s Bible

My grandmother (Clittee Christian Walker) bible from 1966 when she lived in Monticello, NY and attended Bethlehem Temple Church. She list the names and births of her children as well as the names of her parents and her husband’s (Wilson) parents, the date she got married and also the date she received the bible. Another cool thing to me is she noted scriptures and activities going on during that time and dated them in her bible.
